The Task Manager has two views: List and Board. The Board view presents your tasks as a kanban-style layout, organized by status column.
Switching to Board View #
- Open the portal and click the Tasks tab.
- Click the Board button in the top-right of the Tasks header.
To switch back, click List.
Your view preference is remembered while you are in the portal.
How the Board Is Organized #
In Board view, tasks are grouped into columns by status:
- To Do — Tasks with no progress yet
- Up Next — Tasks queued and ready to start
- In Progress — Tasks actively being worked on
- Complete — Finished tasks
Each task card shows the title, assignee avatars, and due date at a glance.
Moving Tasks Between Columns #
Drag any task card from one column to another to change its status. The task status updates immediately.
You can also change a task’s status from inside the task detail view.
Requirements #
The Board view requires Task Status Tracking to be enabled in your settings. If statuses are disabled, tasks only have an open/complete toggle and the Board view is not available.
To enable: Settings → ClientPress → Features → Task Status Tracking.
