Calendar View — Visualizing Task Due Dates

1 min read

The Calendar tab gives you and your clients a visual overview of upcoming task due dates. Any task with a due date assigned to it will appear on the calendar.

Opening the Calendar #

Click the Calendar tab inside any portal. The calendar opens in month view by default.

Switching Views #

Use the view toggle buttons to switch between:

  • Month — Shows an overview of the entire month with tasks placed on their due dates
  • Week — Shows a focused view of the current week

Navigating the Calendar #

  • Use the ← → arrows to move backward and forward by month or week
  • Click Today to jump back to the current period
  • The current period is displayed as a label (e.g., “June 2026”)

What’s Shown #

Each task with a due date appears on the calendar on that date. Tasks show their title and the list they belong to.

Completed tasks are visually distinguished (greyed out with a checkmark) so you can see what’s done at a glance.

Requirements #

The Calendar tab requires the Task Manager to be enabled. If the Task Manager is disabled, the Calendar tab is also hidden.

To enable: Settings → ClientPress → Features → Task Manager.

The Calendar can also be independently disabled if you want tasks but not the calendar view: Settings → ClientPress → Features → Calendar.

Adding Tasks to the Calendar #

Tasks appear on the calendar automatically once a due date is set. To add a due date to a task:

  1. Open the Tasks tab.
  2. Click on any task to open its detail view.
  3. Set a Due Date.
  4. Save.

The task will appear on the Calendar immediately.
